These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all services provided by BizLQ ("we," "us," "our") to any client ("you," "your"). By engaging BizLQ for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
BizLQ provides digital infrastructure, website development, systems setup, automation services, hosting, and technical support as defined in the selected service package, add-ons, or written agreement.
Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Website design and development
- Hosting and platform access
- Domain configuration
- Business systems setup
- Automation and internal tools
- Ongoing support and maintenance
Any service not expressly listed in the agreed package or invoice is outside the scope and may require a separate fee.
2. Project Delivery and Completion
2.1 Delivery Definition
A project is considered "delivered" when the website or system is: (a) Published to a live environment, or (b) Presented to the client for final review and approval.
2.2 Deemed Approval
If the client does not request revisions within 7 calendar days of delivery, the project will be considered approved and completed.
2.3 Delivery Timelines
Estimated timelines are:
- Business Lite: 5–7 working days
- Business Starter: 7–10 working days
- Business Standard and above: Project-based timeline
Delays caused by late client content, approvals, or feedback extend delivery timelines accordingly.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate business information, text content, images, and branding assets
- Ensure all provided content is legally owned or licensed
- Respond to requests for feedback within a reasonable time
If required content is not provided within 7 days, the project may be paused. Restarting a paused project may incur a rescheduling fee.
4. Revisions and Change Requests
4.1 Included Revisions
Each project includes two (2) rounds of revisions covering minor design or content changes.
4.2 Out-of-Scope Changes
The following are considered new work and billed as add-ons:
- New pages or major layout changes
- New system features
- Additional integrations
- Functional changes beyond the original scope
5. Pricing and Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Structure
- Full payment is required before project commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Add-ons and upgrades are billed separately
5.2 Pricing Adjustments
All prices are subject to change due to third-party platform costs, infrastructure updates, or market conditions. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect active projects mid-delivery.
5.3 Late Payments
Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of services, hosting, or system access.
6. Refund Policy
- Refunds are not available once work has commenced
- Full refunds apply only if BizLQ fails to deliver the agreed service
- Third-party costs such as domains and hosting are non-refundable
7. Hosting and Annual Renewal Policy
7.1 Annual Hosting & Platform Fee
After 12 months from the website go-live date, clients must renew hosting.
Annual Hosting & Platform Fee — ₦25,000/year
Includes:
- Continued hosting
- SSL certificate
- Basic uptime monitoring
- Security updates
- Technical email support
7.2 Suspension
Failure to renew may result in temporary suspension or removal of the website after notice.
8. Domain Ownership and Management
8.1 Ownership
- Custom domains purchased by the client remain the client’s property
- Free BizLQ subdomains remain BizLQ property
8.2 Domain Connection Service
Clients upgrading to a custom domain pay the actual domain registration cost and a BizLQ service fee for configuration and deployment. BizLQ handles DNS setup, website connection, and testing.
9. Migration and Exit Policy
9.1 Full Site Migration
Clients wishing to move to independent hosting may request a full export.
Full Site Migration Fee — ₦120,000 (One-Time)
- Website backup files
- Codebase and platform export
- Database export (if applicable)
9.2 Optional Deployment Support
Deployment Support Fee — ₦30,000 (One-Time)
- Server configuration support
- Website deployment
- Testing and verification
10. Support and Maintenance
10.1 Initial Support
All packages include 7 days of basic technical support after delivery.
10.2 Ongoing Support
Clients may subscribe to monthly support retainers:
- ₦15,000/month: 2 website updates, minor improvements, performance monitoring
- ₦35,000/month: 3–5 updates, minor improvements, security checks, priority support
Support includes technical updates, system monitoring, and minor feature improvements. Marketing, SEO, and business consulting are not included unless agreed separately.
10.3 System-Level Maintenance
For automation, CRM, and internal systems, we provide health monitoring, workflow optimization, data integrity checks, and improvement support.
11. Acceptable Use Policy
Clients may not use BizLQ services for:
- Illegal activities
- Fraud or scams
- Copyright infringement
- Harmful, abusive, or misleading content
BizLQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for violations.
12. Third-Party Services
BizLQ may integrate third-party platforms such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, or messaging services. BizLQ is not responsible for downtime, bans, pricing changes, or policy changes from third-party providers.
13. Uptime and Liability Disclaimer
BizLQ does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:
- Lost revenue
- Business interruption
- Data loss caused by third-party platforms
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.
14. Intellectual Property Rights
- Upon full payment, the client owns the final website content and design
- BizLQ retains ownership of internal frameworks, templates, system architecture, and proprietary tools
15. Data and Privacy
- Client data remains the property of the client
- BizLQ hosts and processes data solely for service delivery
- Clients are responsible for legal compliance regarding user data and privacy laws
16. BizLQ Workspace & Growth Marketplace
16.1 Workspace Access
Upon payment confirmation, clients gain access to BizLQ’s Business Workspace (“Asset Upload Portal") to submit business information, branding assets, and content required for project delivery. Access remains active for the duration of the client’s engagement with BizLQ.
16.2 Workspace Usage
Clients agree to:
- Submit accurate and legally owned content.
- Maintain login credentials securely.
- Use the Workspace only for purposes related to their BizLQ services.
16.3 Add-Ons and Upgrades
Clients may purchase add-ons at any time. Add-ons are billed separately and immediately. Purchase is optional. BizLQ is not liable for business outcomes arising from purchased add-ons.
16.5 Workspace Updates & Notifications
BizLQ may update the Workspace to improve functionality. Clients will be notified of major updates.
17. Termination of Services
BizLQ may terminate services for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or illegal/harmful use. Upon termination, hosting and access may be disabled. Data export follows the Migration Policy.
18. Portfolio and Branding Rights
BizLQ reserves the right to display completed projects in its portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise and both parties agree in writing.
19. Business Continuity
If BizLQ discontinues operations, clients will be provided with a reasonable window to request website exports and migration support under the Migration Policy.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
21. Amendments
BizLQ reserves the right to update these Terms. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
